Gulp.... My son likes......

Barbie. Yes. He does. No..... not BARBIE. I mean, not the doll. No no no. He likes the Barbie MOVIE Princess and the Pauper. sigh..... Okay. Granted, it's a musical. They are singing (quite beautifully) every 3-5 minutes for at least 5 minutes at a time. All through the movie. AND, granted, the other Barbie movies we have (Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Rapunzel) aren't anywhere close to being as interesting to him. So, I like to tell myself it's because those movies aren't considered "musicals", and thus it's the singing that is attracting him. But I will put that movie in when I need a few minutes to do Mommy things that can not be done with a 23 pounder on my hip. Yes, I will put my son in front of P&P on purpose. I think that makes me an accomplice in the eyes of the Baby Police.
