The mess that vacation brings
I'm in the process of getting the family packed up for a trip to north Alabama for a cousin's wedding this weekend. We leave tomorrow. And while I'll freely admit that the house was certainly not in pristine condition before I got started, it's in significantly worse condition now. The kids get away with sheer murder when I'm completely distracted.
Pffllbbbtt.
Okay. Venting over. Back to gathering clothes and things and things and things.

Do *you* ever dream of coming back from a trip to a "pristine" house? I know I do, but it never happens - it's usually total chaos from the preparations as you described.
Sigh.
Oh well! Y'all have a great trip and a fun time at the wedding!
Don't forget your lightweight coats for the evenings. It's getting breezy and cool up here - mid 50's to low 60's. If you are passing our way and need a rest stop or stretch, give us a call. We are less than 3 miles off I-459 exit #10 (gas stations at our exit also).
