The Eighties Interrupted

This lovely shot of what appears to be an 80's style makeup session that was prematurely finished is actually a shiner! Poodle and one of her church friends had an accidental bumper-child moment. They were playing with the football after supper and before the evening service at church on Saturday. Abigail zigged when Poodle zagged. Whoops!

Lovely, eh? It's actually a bit worse in color today than it was yesterday when we took the pictures. But I'm sure that by the end of the week, you'll barely know that she bumped her eye. And, as usual, she barely cried after it happened, and wanted to go back to playing about a minute later.

But it is giving me not-so-pleasant flashbacks of my favorite coral and bright blue eyeshadows that I wore when I was 14. YIKES!!! The 1980's really were a bad fashion decade. Bad, bad, bad.
